Getting music heard without the backing of a label
The prospects of a band 'making it' is a long shot at best.
We have a sister company that has a history of music production and promotion, so we have a very clear knowledge of what doesn't work.
In the case of this band, the aim was to get the music heard and to use this popularity to get radio and streaming airplay.
A combination of social media 'vibe' marketing, direct email (djs and music blogs) and distribution (youtube, soundcloud etc) was used to get traction.
